Quality Manager

Summary


​The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direction and leadership to matters relating to quality within the company. This position establishes plans, policies, and procedures at all levels to ensure that the Quality Assurance program will meet or exceed internal and external needs and expectations.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
  • Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
  • Ensure company is following ISO requirements, FDS regulations and other international regulations
  • Interpreting data and set performance metrics
  • Responsible for internal and external audits, manage relationships with suppliers/consultants/contract manufacturers/notified bodies to ensure company is in compliance with ISO requirements
  • Responsible and accountable to formulate polices and promote their implementation
  • Conducts gap analysis for emerging projects to meet their operational needs and rapidly fill the gaps enabling business development team
  • Creates agreement templates to rapidly enable company’s business with external partners
  • Responsible and ensures that all regulatory requirements are met, for both domestic and international sale and distribution of the company product(s)
  • Responsible for communicating with the FDA and regulations
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining technical file for the company’s product(s) for regulatory filing
  • Assist in training new staff on applicable SOPs and WIS

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, materials research, industrial, quality engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience is required. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite an Quality Management System Software
  • Lead Auditor Certified
  • 5-10 years of experience in medical device
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Data analysis and statistical aptitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly conscientious and diligent.

Office Admin

Job Duties
  • Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy
  • Manage agendas, travel plans and appointments for upper management
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
  • Create and update databases and records for financial information, personnel, and other data
  • Assist with basic monthly and yearly reporting
  • Assist with purchasing duties
  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties including: packing product, process shipping paperwork/labels, and receipt of incoming shipments including documentation and inspections
  • Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures
  • Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
  • Assist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
  • Two- or three-years’ management experience in an office setting
  • Specific industry experience preferred
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
