Yucatan Miniature Porcine Wound Healing Study 

MIRRAGEN® Advanced Wound Matrix was tested in a clinically relevant porcine wound model under GLP conditions.
  • Dermal Wounds: 4 cm x 4 cm full-thickness and partial thickness  
  • Treatments (n=6 each)

At Day 56 MIRRAGEN® Advanced Wound Matrix showed the least inflammation and most mature granulation tissue compared to the synthetic polymer fiber and collagen fiber treated wounds. 1  

Conclusions 1

  • Full and partial thickness wounds covered with the MIRRAGEN® Advanced Wound Matrix healed in less time and more completely compared to similar devices in head-to-head testing.​​
